In 2009, Crystal and Steve Miller set out to make a meaningful difference by acquiring three assisted living communities.
They built Frontida on trust, compassion, and integrity—choosing a name derived from the Greek word for “care and nurture.”
A year into owning those communities, they immersed themselves in every aspect of the work. Both leaders earned certifications, stepped into hands-on roles, and shaped operations around their vision: to support residents and families with dignity, transparency, and genuine care.
Today, their commitment continues to guide every Frontida community, ensuring residents feel supported, families find peace of mind, and teams are empowered to provide exceptional care.
